Prayer flags in Bhutan are a common sight representing peace and prosperity, these prayer flags are for goodluck and harmony in the entire universe, driven by the workhorse in the middle and sacred mantras of the Buddha, consisting of five element colours, white: purification of Karma, red: wish fulfilling prayers, green: prayers of compassion, yellow: victory over obstacles and blue: health and longevity prayers.
Prayers flags are seen almost everywhere in Bhutan, it is supposed to bring goodluck to oneself and also flourishes positive energy for the well-being of all sentient beings.
